Our name was coined from the main woman behind Ma
Del's Cuisine, Mrs. Delia Salvador.
She's aptly called and known as “Mama
Del” or “Ma
Del” by family members
and close family friends who have regarded her hearty home cooked cuisines to be their sought-after favorite.
She started her career in the food industry 27 years ago, as a
professional baker for a renowned bakeshop in Pasig
City. Her dedicated service
and passion for learning had later earned her to become the Head Cook when the bakeshop started to offer catering service
in the early 90’s until 2002. From these years, she became skilled in preparing a wide array of Asian, Filipino and
gourmet cuisines.
With only knowledge, experience, the motivation to provide financial freedom
for her family, and some borrowed capital from her aunt to her belt, she decided to venture on her own business
and opened a small canteen in front of her home in 2003. As her sideline job, she accepted food orders and catering services
for small events commissioned by her friends and family. Little by little she earned the confidence to pursue a full blast
catering business with the help of some experienced colleagues who are knowledgeable in catering and food presentation. Thus,
Ma Del’s
Cuisine was officially launched in 2006.
With a clientele that more than doubled in a year's time, Ma
Del’s Cuisine is
now etching its mark in the food service industry, with years of cooking experience and the continued pursuit to advance
the quality of its products and services.
